ACE Scholarship Program

Annual awards for residents of Hansford, Hemphill, Hutchinson, Lipscomb, Ochiltree, or Roberts counties, Texas who are graduating high school seniors and will be enrolling in a college/university pursuing studies in Nursing or Medical School. Award amount and number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.

Elizabeth Garde Nursing Scholarship

Offered by: Danish Sisterhood of America

The scholarship is to provide financial assistance for nursing education to members or relatives of members of the Danish Sisterhood of America. Applicants must:

  • Be a post high school student or graduate student seeking a degree in the nursing or medical profession.
  • Be a member of Danish Sisterhood  for a minimum of one year prior to application deadline or
  • Be the daughter/son of a Danish Sisterhood member

Medical Professionals of Tomorrow Scholarship

Offered by: US Medical Supplies

This scholarship is available to full-time college students who are pursuing a course of study in a medical field, including those studying to become a doctor, nurse, physical therapist, anesthesiologist, radiologist, and all those who are pursuing other medical fields.

First place winner will receive $3,500, second place will receive $1000, and third place will receive $500.

Offered by: Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, be a woman at least 21 years of age, have been out of school for at least two years, and hold membership in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Cronk, Mehring, and Piero/Wade scholarships are for undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational courses of study. Kahler/Vickers/Raup scholarship is for medical school study. Kemp scholarship is for minority laywomen in undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational courses of study. Knudstrup scholarship is for the occupation of Christian service through graduate study.
