The scholarship is to provide financial assistance for nursing education to members or relatives of members of the Danish Sisterhood of America. Applicants must:
- Be a post high school student or graduate student seeking a degree in the nursing or medical profession.
- Be a member of Danish Sisterhood for a minimum of one year prior to application deadline or
- Be the daughter/son of a Danish Sisterhood member
- Have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Kemp scholarship is for minority laywomen in undergraduate, graduate, professional, or vocational courses of study.
