Scholarships for Students in Wisconsin

The purpose of this scholarship is to promote long term care nursing. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• The applicant must be a Wisconsin resident.
• The applicant must have present employment in a long term care facility located in Wisconsin.
• The applicant must sign the agreement to work in a long term care facility for at least two years after completing a nursing program

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, an undergraduate or graduate student in good standing enrolled in at least six semester credits currently enrolled in, or have received a degree from, a college or university within Wisconsin or upper peninsula of Michigan. Applicant must have demonstrated leadership and significant service to their campus community.

Applicant must be a resident of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, or North Dakota. Minimum 3.4 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1090 (composite ACT score of 25) required. Applicant must be majoring in one of the majors listed on sponsor's application page.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin who will pursue post-secondary education. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who was selected as the "Most Congenial" female member of the graduating class.

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident and African-American, American Indian, Hispanic, or Southeast Asian from Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam admitted to the U.S. after December 31, 1975, and must be attending a Wisconsin independent institution or a Wisconsin Technical College. Selection is based upon financial need.

Applicants must be sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate or graduate students in natural or applied science, engineering or mathematics at Brown University, Colorado School of Mines, Clemson University, Florida Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, Johns Hopkins University, Louisiana State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Miami University, North Carolina State University, North Dakota State University, Ohio State, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Syracuse University, Texas A&M University, Tufts University, University of Arizona, University of Central Florida, University of Chicago, University of Colorado, University of Kansas, University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, University of Oklahoma, University of Rochester, University of Southern California, University of Texas at Austin, University of Virginia, University of Washington, University of Wisconsin or Washington University and must be nominated by faculty or staff. Applicants may not directly apply for the scholarship. Students must have excellent grades and performed research or lab work in their field.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue a career in an art-related field.

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has designated University of Wisconsin, La Crosse as his or her first-choice institution when completing the scholarship application. Applicants may change their top-choice selection by logging onto the Online Scholarship Application (OSA) website. Applicant must take the PSAT/NMSQT in the specified year of the high school program and no later than the third year in grades 9 through 12. Applicant must also be a citizen of the United States or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wisconsin High School who will enroll in a liberal arts program. Essay or poem submission required.

Participants must be enrolled in a Wisconsin high school and in their sophomore, junior or senior year.

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has designated University of Wisconsin - Manitowoc Campus as his or her first-choice institution when completing the scholarship application. Applicants may change their top-choice selection by logging onto the Online Scholarship Application (OSA) website. Applicant must take the PSAT/NMSQT in the specified year of the high school program and no later than the third year in grades 9 through 12. Applicant must also be a citizen of the United States or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident.

Application, supplemental materials, or book manuscript eligible for publication by the State Historical Society of Wisconsin Press are required to be submitted. Applicant is encouraged to discuss his or her project with the editorial director prior to submission.

Applicant must be a graduating senior attending school in South Central Wisconsin whose mother or grandmother is a member of the Wisconsin Dells Women's Bowling Association.

Applicant must be a high school senior who has attended Central High School for more than two years and who plans to enroll one of the following colleges/universities: The College of St. Scholastica, the University of Minnesota - Duluth, the University of Wisconsin - Superior, Lake Superior College, or Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. FAFSA is required.

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has designated University of Wisconsin - Platteville as his or her first-choice institution when completing the scholarship application. Applicants may change their top-choice selection by logging onto the Online Scholarship Application (OSA) website. Applicant must take the PSAT/NMSQT in the specified year of the high school program and no later than the third year in grades 9 through 12. Applicant must also be a citizen of the United States or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who attended WDHS for a minimum of 12 terms, and excelled in an Educational Foundations Scholarship category (band, business, entrepreneurship, choir, english/language arts, math, performing arts, science).

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will pursue post-secondary education.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wisconsin Dells High School who will attend a four-year college or university in Wisconsin pursuing a degree in the applied sciences. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be a resident of Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Wisconsin.
