Scholarships for Students in Oklahoma

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is an incoming freshman. Recipients will be considered for a Continuing Student Tuition Scholarship for the following year.

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student who has a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA (at least a 3.0 GPA each semester), and must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area. Official Texarkana Coll transcripts required. First preference is for an applicant who attended Texarkana Coll on an Albert Loftin scholarship; second preference is for an applicant who attended Texarkana Coll full time who plans on completing an undergraduate degree at Texas A&M U - Texarkana.

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student age 25 or over providing financial support for children age 18 or under, enrolled in at least six semester hours, have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA with no grade below "B," at Texas A&M U - Texarkana and must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area.

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who is a freshman enrolled full-time. Applicant must have a minimum 2.0 high school GPA or a college student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a first generation college student.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Mid-Del District high school who will attend an accredited public college or technology center in Oklahoma. Minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA required.

Applicant must be a National Merit Finalist who has designated Southwestern Oklahoma State University as his or her first-choice institution when completing the scholarship application. Applicants may change their top-choice selection by logging onto the Online Scholarship Application (OSA) website. Applicant must take the PSAT/NMSQT in the specified year of the high school program and no later than the third year in grades 9 through 12. Applicant must also be a citizen of the United States or be a U.S. lawful permanent resident.

Applicant must be a resident of Oklahoma pursuing a graduate degree in mental health services.

Applicants must be sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate or graduate students in natural or applied science, engineering or mathematics at Brown University, Colorado School of Mines, Clemson University, Florida Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, Johns Hopkins University, Louisiana State University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Miami University, North Carolina State University, North Dakota State University, Ohio State, Pennsylvania State University, Purdue University, Syracuse University, Texas A&M University, Tufts University, University of Arizona, University of Central Florida, University of Chicago, University of Colorado, University of Kansas, University of Kentucky, University of Minnesota, University of Michigan, University of Oklahoma, University of Rochester, University of Southern California, University of Texas at Austin, University of Virginia, University of Washington, University of Wisconsin or Washington University and must be nominated by faculty or staff. Applicants may not directly apply for the scholarship. Students must have excellent grades and performed research or lab work in their field.

Applicant must be a female degree-seeking student enrolled in at least three semester hours, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (undergraduates) or 3.5 cumulative GPA (graduates), and be a U.S. citizen and resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area. Applicant must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least nine semester hours (undergraduate) or six semester hours (graduate), have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and must be an U.S. citizen and a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area. Tax forms required.

Applicant must be an alumni association member in good standing, seeking a degree or professional improvement, enrolled in at least six semester hours, have a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA, and must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area.

Applicant must be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen and be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas. Undergraduate applicant must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Graduate applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA either in all graduate coursework or in the last 60 credits of undergraduate coursework. Financial need is considered.

Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident enrolled for a minimum of 12 hours, have a minimum composite ACT score of 27, and have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from an Oklahoma County, OK high school who will attend a public post-secondary institution in Oklahoma. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman and a resident of Oklahoma who received an ACT score of 26 or 27 and who has a minimum 3.0 GPA. Award distributed based on academic achievement and potential for success in college.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Central Oklahoma public high school who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution in Oklahoma.

Applicant must be a Church of Christ student in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont or Virginia. A minimum combined SAT score of 950 (composite ACT score of 20) is required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a western Oklahoma or southern Kansas high school who will pursue post-secondary education. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicants must be child care professionals in Oklahoma. They must be pursuing or planning to pursue additional education or credentials in early childhood education or child development. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

Applicant must be a resident of Oklahoma and a first-time freshman who is enrolled full-time and was the valedictorian or salutatorian of their high school class.
