Catholic scholarships

Applicant must be an outstanding Catholic high school student who attends a school within the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Applicant must be an employee, or dependent or spouse of an employee, of a Kansas Catholic school.

Applicant must be Roman Catholic, have a minimum 3.2 GPA, and be a resident of California, Nevada, Arizona, or an Illinois city where branches of the Federation are established. Applicant must be wholly or partially of Italian ancestry or be the child or grandchild of an ICF member. If the applicant is a child or grandchild of an ICF member, they do not have to live where Branches of the Federation are established. Letters of recommendation, financial need, and participation in church and community activities required.

Applicant must be a full-time student at an accredited college or university and have a $100 minimum annuity certificate, $5,000 term insurance, or $1,000 legal reserve policy with the FCSLA for at least three years prior to application. Transcript, 500-word essay on career goals and objectives, and financial need are required. Applicant must be a member of the organization for three years prior to date of application.

Applicant must be a dependent of a full-time Kansas Catholic college employee.

Applicant must rank in the top third of class and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum combined SAT I score of 1100.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Uniontown Area High School who is related to a Catholic War Veteran.

Applicant must be an employee of a Roman Catholic diocese in New York State who has completed their bachelor's degree and has been accepted into a graduate program at Canisius College.

Applicant must be a Catholic who has demonstrated leadership in community, parish, or school. Amount of award is based upon academic performance, demonstrated leadership, and financial need. Application (available from Office of Financial Aid Services), letter from applicant, letter of recommendation from applicant's parish priest.

Applicant must graduate from a Roman Catholic high school and enroll as a full-time student.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Washington or Washington Catholic High School who plans to study journalism at Vincennes University. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Roncalli Catholic High SChool who was a varsity athlete on the football team and will enroll full-time at an accredited college or university. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be an Adult Degree Center student who demonstrates financial need, is Catholic and under the age of 50, maintains satisfactory academic progress and participates in the McGillick Scholars Bridge Program at the Carlow Hill Education Center campus.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Catholic, Fort Smith Northside or Little Rock Central High School.

Applicant must fall into one of the following categories: must be a child of a member in good standing who, while serving in the military forces of his country in a combat zone, specifically designated as such by the Board of Directors, is killed by hostile action or wounded by hostile action resulting within two years thereof in permanent and total disability; or be the child of a member in good standing who, while in the lawful performance of his duties as a full-time law enforcement officer or full-time firefighter, died as the result of criminal violence directed at him. An application must be filed within two years of the date of the death of the member in both cases. Award may be used at Catholic colleges only.

Applicants must be practicing Catholics and full-time high school seniors who hold a leadership role in their scouting unit and are actively involved with a Scout Troop, Varsity Scout Team, Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship. Students must have provided service to their home parish and earned the Ad Altare Dei or Pope Pius XII Religious Award. Applicants must also have earned the Eagle Scout, Silver Award or Quartermaster Award and must currently hold a leadership role in a community or school organization other than scouting.

Applicant must be a full-time freshman student who is an active member of a Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Detroit. Letter of recommendation from pastor is required.

Applicant must be a graduate of a Catholic high school.

Applicant must be a student of Our Lady of Lourdes catholic school in Vancouver, WA.

Applicant must be a graduate of a Catholic high school in the Springfield, Mass., diocese and have completed the financial aid process.
