Business/Management scholarships

The programs are made possible by gifts from Marjorie (Marj) Chance, a longtime Wichita resident, businesswoman and philanthropist who played a key role in the establishment of the nursing program at Newman University.

Applicant must be a business student who has completed a minimum of one year at the university or be a returning missionary who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and upholds and lives the honor code. Enrollment in an Institute class is required.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student with a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (minimum composite ACT score of 27) and majoring in pre-business.

Applicant must be a graduate of Lovell High School who plans to further their education at a technical school, college, or university. Interest in the fields of business or science required. Selection based upon academic record and achievement, and participation in community and extra-curricular activities.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and full-time sophomore, junior, or senior college student who is majoring in business. Minimum 3.0 GPA, letter of recommendation, resume, and community service activities required.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. Applicant must be a full-time student with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applicant must attend the Canisius Graduate School of Business. Academic pride and community involvement must be demonstrated. Minimum 2.67 GPA, essay, and two letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must have been a resident of Kent, Allegan, Ottawa, or Muskegon, Mich., counties for at least three years, or be a resident student at a public college in the West Michigan, area for at least two years. Recipient must study abroad through any accredited college/university specified, with major in accounting, business administration, economics, managerial science, and mathmatics, witha minimum 3.0 GPA. selection basis includes financial need.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be an undergraduate business student with at least fifteen semester hours of College of Business course work completed, open to both domestic and international students.

Applicant must be a high school graduate or graduating high school senior who is the natural, adopted or step-child of an employee of Schott North America, Inc. or Gemtron Corporation in Knox County who is enrolling at an accredited college, university or technical/vocational school to pursue a degree in business, engineering, environment, finance, general studies, law/legal studies, medicine/healthcare, sales/marketing, or science. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

Applicant must attend the Canisius Graduate School of Business. Minimum 2.67 GPA, essay, and two letters of recommendation required.

Applicants must be full-time undergraduates at Jacksonville State University. Students must be enrolled in the School of Business and attained a B or higher average. Applicants must be from Marshall County.

Applicant must be a senior in college or graduate student attending a U.S. university in a Ph.D. or master's program focused on technology research. Preference will be given to students with a desire to work in an industrial research lab and those working on research projects likely to have real-world practical value to customers, in areas related to Symantec's businesses of information security, availability, and integrity. Application form including a personal statement of research interests (not to exceed 500 words) and three letters of recommendation are required.

Applicant must have completed one year of full-time college study who has completed courses that reflect an emphasis on real estate, finance, and/or business. Applicant must be a resident of central Contra Costa County only in the communities of Alamo, Blackhawk, Clayton, Clyde, Concord, Danville, Diablo, Lafayette, Martinez, Moraga/Canyon, Orinda, Pacheco, Pleasant Hill, Rossmoor, San Ramon and Walnut Creek. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduate from South Decatur High School who will attend Ball State University's College of Business. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be either a business or nursing major.

Applicant must be a student with a minimum 3.0 GPA enrolled in either the teacher education or business administration/grantsmanship at the associate or certificate level who has not yet earned an associate or baccalaureate degree. Financial need and leadership through participation in college clubs or community organizations must be demonstrated

Applicant must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate involvement in college related business activities and an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.75 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 21 and must be a business major and a graduate of San Luis Valley High School.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is majoring in business management. Leadership and community involvement must be demonstrated.
