Behavioral and quantitative courses: PSYCH 1110 (Introduction to Psychology); MATH 1350 (Introduction to Statistics) or equivalent
Nursing-related prerequisites: NURS 239 (Pathophysiology I); NURS 240 (Pathophysiology II) — NURS 240 may be taken per case-by-case policy
Additional prerequisites: NUTR 2110 (Human Nutrition); NURS 224 or PSYCH 2120 (Lifespan Growth and Development/Developmental Psychology)

Program reports about 99% of Pre-Licensure BSN Albuquerque campus students participate in clinical experiences within the UNM Health System
Simulation center facilities inventory: 24 clinic spaces; 7 debriefing rooms; 3 acute care rooms; 5 skills rooms with 6–8 beds each; community student waiting area/lounge
Simulation equipment includes high-fidelity manikins and low-fidelity manikins for skills practice
Credit Transfer
UNM provides a transfer evaluation process to determine how coursework from other institutions may apply toward UNM degree requirements and prerequisites
