Admission Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing required prior to program start
Minimum calculated GPA of 3.0 in required prerequisite courses
Prerequisite coursework must be completed within the last 15 years with grade of C- or better
No more than one repeat of any prerequisite course permitted

Required natural science courses (examples): BIOH 201 Anatomy & Physiology I with lab, BIOH 211 Anatomy & Physiology II with lab, BIOM 250/251 Microbiology for Health Sciences with lab, CHMY 121/122 Introduction to General Chemistry with lab, CHMY 123/124 Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry with lab
Other required courses (examples): WRIT 201 College Writing II, STAT 216Q Introduction to Statistics, NUTR 221CS Human Nutrition, COMX 111US Public Speaking (waived for prior bachelor’s), M 121Q College Algebra or M 140 College Math for Health Care, HDFS 101IS or PSYX 230 Developmental Psychology, PSYX 100IS or SOCI 101IS

BIOH 201 Anatomy & Physiology I must be one of the completed science courses to apply

Priority application deadline for Fall start: January 5
Final application deadline if seats remain: July 15
Priority applicant decision release date: March 15
Program start/clinical compliance completion target: prior to August 1 (Fall start)
Required clinical compliance items before program start: background check, urine drug screen, immunizations, American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR, proof of health insurance
Applicants must submit official college transcripts through NursingCAS
Applicants previously enrolled in another nursing program must submit a letter of good standing from that program’s nursing director
Selection Process
Campus cohort placement: applicants rank preferred campus locations in NursingCAS
Placement decisions consider campus ranking and applicant holistic ranking
Priority applicants (submitted by Jan 5) receive decisions on March 15
Wait List Policies
Applicants not offered first-choice campus may decline guaranteed placement and request placement on waitlist for desired campus
Applicants not offered initial placement may request placement on general waitlist
Applicants not placed from waitlist may re-apply in the next admission cycle
