The practical nursing program at Clatsop is not a standalone program. They have ADN program that is also used to train LPNs. The first 4 terms of the ADN program is dedicated for training LPNs. Students who wish to become LPN can complete the LPN portion and exist the program by taking their certificate and head to the NCLEX PN exam.

A note on the school's website also points out that they will be starting to integrate TEAS exam as part of their admission qualification process starting 2014.

The program accepts a very small number of students, usually less than 20 and most students are enrolled for the RN program.
