Mt Hood Community College

Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) is located in Gresham, Oregon. MHCC was established back in 1966 and it now serves more than 33,000 students. This school boasts a 212-acre main campus and it even has other education centers in the area to better provide for its many students. This community college offers many associate’s degree programs and also has several certificate options. It has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. This school also allows for many easy transfer opportunities for graduates who are looking to continue on at four-year universities.

he MHCC nursing program is an associate’s degree nursing program that is highly sought after. The MHCC nursing program also accepts advanced placement applications from current LPNs and army medics who are seeking advanced placement in the RN program. MHCC is a partner school in the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. This nursing program is approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
