Clackamas Community College
Clackamas Community College (CCC) is located in Oregon City, Oregon. There are three different CCC campuses in the surrounding areas and it is a very convenient educational facility for all students. CCC is a community college that was established back in 1966. The school now has over 25,000 students enrolled in courses of some sort. There are associate’s degree programs, certificate programs, workforce development programs, and much more. This is a good school for anyone who is seeking to advance his or her career prospects. CCC has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It even has an athletics department that offers students the chance to participate in 11 different competitive sports.
The CCC nursing program gives students the opportunity to earn associate’s degrees in nursing. This is a limited-entry nursing program that is very sought after. Successful graduates of the program will be prepared to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. This program is a part of the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. The curriculum is held to a high standard and it is possible to transfer over to earn a bachelor’s degree from Oregon Health & Science University. This nursing program has been approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
