The Practical Nursing program curriculum is offered in two semesters and one summer session. The curriculum combines theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations and independent study opportunities as well as clinical practice in a nursing laboratory. Students are also allowed to experience hands on patient care at a range of healthcare facilities in the local area.     

Students earn their Certificate in one year consisting of three semesters of instruction while they are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses at the end of the second year.
