ADN Programs in Alabama

The curriculum is student friendly and well designed. Students are taught general and nursing skills to enable them successfully pass the National Council Licensure Exam. The curriculum ensures that the graduates have the necessary skills to practice as registered nurse.

Offered at the Madison campus, the AND program is accredited by the NLNAC. To get admitted to the ADN program, a prospective student can apply either online or in person. All applicants must set up an interview with any of the admission advisors. Our admission advisors are trained to offer applicants with   necessary information in areas like program content, description, scheduling and available opportunities.

The college also does assessment of an applicant’s aptitude and reviews their education background. This is to ascertain that one meets the prerequisite criteria set for admission. Some requirements set are the provision of the official High school diploma or copy of GED scores. However, the first step to gain admission to the ADN Program is to reserve a seat at one of our information sessions.

The ADN program at University of Mobile prepares students as an entry level nurse practitioner. The course will teach you basic nursing knowledge and psychomotor skills.

Students who are interested in attending University of Mobile’s ADN program must meet both the university’s and the school of nursing admission requirements. And it’s best to do it as early as possible.

Students are required to provide NLN PAX RN entrance exam test result along with SAT score. A high school transcript or GED is also required.

You should also provide your complete medical history and take immunization, which will be provided by the school for your clinical. Your CPR certification should also be in order.  Lastly your criminal record must be clean.

The course is dived into five semesters with a total of 70 credit hours. The course also includes a 2 credit hours NCLEX RN prep classes at the end of the fifth semester.

The program is not accredited at the time of writing but it is fully approved by Alabama state board of nursing.
