Nassau Community College
Nassau Community College (NCC) is located in Garden City, New York and is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) college system. This public community college was established in 1959 and it now serves more than 17,000 students. As a large school that works hard to serve the community, it offers various academic opportunities. NCC has the distinction of awarding the most associate’s degrees annually in the state of New York. It is ranked third among public two-year community colleges for associate’s degrees awarded in the entire United States. Students will be able to pursue special certificate programs as well and there are various transfer options to consider.
The NCC nursing program is going to give students the chance to take part in a multi-award-winning program. Students can pursue both associate’s degrees in nursing and bachelor’s degrees in nursing at this school. The bachelor’s degree program is made possible by SUNY Empire State College. The associate’s degree in nursing program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The bachelor’s degree in nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
