CUNY Bronx Community College
CUNY Bronx Community College (BCC) is located in Bronx, New York and is a part of the City of New York University (CUNY) community college system. BCC was established back in 1957 and currently serves more than 10,000 students BCC offers students more than 40 academic programs including several associate’s degree options and some certificate programs for students. The 45-acre campus of the school gives students many other opportunities for enjoying college life as well. There is a robust athletics department that is part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) The country also hosts the Hall of Fame for Great Americans, which has the distinction of being the first hall of fame in the country.
The BCC nursing program allows students to go down the licensed practical nursing path at this school or they can choose to pursue associate’s degrees in nursing. Both programs are held to a very high standard and have a curriculum that is designed to fully prepare students for life as professionals. The BCC nursing program has the full approval of the State Education Department and it is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
