The College of Menominee Nation offers a LPN to RN program designed for LPNs who have successfully graduated from an accredited program in the last five years and have had some work experience.

The 72 credit program allows applicants to enter the program in the third semester of the generic ADN program.

Program Requirements:

  • LPN applicants to the program need to up-date general education requirements
  • Students entering the program need to complete the Nursing Transitions LPN-RN course which include theoretical and practical elements to serve as refresher for the LPN preparing to begin RN courses in the third semester.

Admission Requirements: all requirements for the traditional track nursing program apply to this program including

  • Official transcripts for secondary and post secondary coursework
  • Personal statement
  • Health Assessment (physical exam and immunization series required for clinical practice)
  • Accuplacer Placement Test

Students who successfully graduate from the LPN-RN program are eligible to apply to sit for NCLEX RN.

Applications from the program are accepted on an open admission basis for all enrollment periods. Applicants claiming American Indian Status can include their tribal identification card with their application.
