LPN to ADN Programs in Arkansas

If you're an LPN in Arkansas thinking about becoming an RN, you've got 10 different ADN bridge programs to consider. These programs are scattered across the state at various community colleges and universities, running from Blytheville and Batesville up north to Bentonville in the northwest corner and down to Magnolia in the south.

What's helpful about our directory is that you can see all the practical details at a glance - where each school is located, whether it's a community college or university, and what kind of NCLEX pass rates they're seeing. When available, you'll also find three-year average pass rates and how each program ranks among Arkansas RN programs for 2025.

Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville has been doing really well - they're sitting at #2 in the state for RN programs with a 94.6% NCLEX pass rate. They typically have around 25 students taking the RN exam each year, so if you prefer a smaller, more intimate program, that might appeal to you.

Over in Bentonville, NorthWest Arkansas Community College shows a 91.4% NCLEX pass rate and landed the #5 ranking for RN programs in 2025. Their nursing outcomes page breaks down NCLEX results by year and shows that 96.2% of their LPN to RN students completed the program in 2023. What's nice about NWACC is their flexibility - they offer evening and weekend tracks alongside traditional daytime options. To apply, you'll need a 2.5 GPA overall and a current, valid Arkansas LPN license without any restrictions.

University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville gives you even more options with both on-campus and online LPN to RN pathways. They'll give you 9 credits for your PN education, leaving you with 58 credits to complete for the AAS RN degree. Their application window opens September 1st if you're planning to start in the spring. Before you commit anywhere, check out NWACC's tuition breakdown by residency status - it'll give you a ballpark figure to work with before adding in program fees and supplies.

Once you graduate, getting your RN license means going through the Arkansas Nurse Portal, filling out the State Board of Nursing application, registering with Pearson VUE for the NCLEX-RN, and clearing both state and federal background checks.

Compare all 10 Arkansas programs using city location, NCLEX outcomes, and ranking data to narrow your selection.

Where possible, we include NCLEX pass rates data for each campus. The average pass rates are calculated using the last 3 years of data. The average scores are then used in our annual RN/PN rankings. You can read more about it here. You can also view this year's rankings for Arkansas here.
