Craven Community College
Craven Community College is located in New Bern, North Carolina. Craven was established in 1965 and has gone through many changes over the years to offer students a very thorough academic experience. Students will be able to pursue associate’s degrees at this school as well as several certificate programs. It has many industry training options to help people further their career-based skills and it even offers transfer programs to larger universities for those who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
The Craven nursing program has gained a reputation for excellence over the years. This school offers students both a practical nursing program and an associate’s degree in nursing program. Students will also be able to take advantage of LPN-to-RN advanced placement opportunities. Nursing students will learn to function as professionals in various medical settings and graduates of this program have gone on to work at hospitals, doctor’s offices, clinics, and many other healthcare facilities. This nursing program has the full approval of the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
