Bunker Hill Community College
Bunker Hill Community College (BHCC) is located in Boston, Massachusetts. This two-year community college actually has multiple campuses across the Boston area, giving students many convenient locations to further their educations. The school was established back in 1973, and it serves more than 13,000 students. This is considered to be the largest community college in all of Massachusetts, and it gives students many options with a variety of academic programs. Students will be able to pursue associate degrees in various fields as well as several certificate programs. BHCC even has many job training services that can help those who are looking to further their career prospects.
The BHCC nursing program has been popular among students in the area for a very long time. Students can pursue the practical nursing program or the registered nursing program. Graduates of the registered nursing program will receive an associate degree and will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam to become a registered nurse. This nursing program is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and is also accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Clinical experiences are a big part of the nursing program and they take place at affiliated medical facilities that are off-site.
