Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City (OSU-OKC) is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. OSU-OKC was established back in 1961 and has gone through some name changes over the years. This university offers many different academic programs to its students. There are more than 40 degree and certificate programs for students to choose from. With programs in so many areas of study, it gives students the best possible opportunities to succeed in their desired career paths. OSU-OKC has been fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The OSU-OKC nursing program is very robust and provides students with a thorough nursing education. The goal of this associate’s degree in nursing program is to prepare all students for registered nurse licensure. To that end, the curriculum is designed to be varied and informative. There is also an advanced track for LPNs who wish to earn their RN status. Successful graduates of this program will be eligible to apply for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. The OSU-OKC associate’s degree in nursing program has been fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and is also approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing.
