Mountain View College (MVC) is located in Dallas, Texas. This public community college was established in 1970 and it serves the needs of around 20,000 students in total. The MVC nursing program is an associate’s degree program that teaches nurses the necessary skills to become registered nurses (RN). All nursing students who attend MVC will receive a great education that will allow them to find success in the nursing field. Nursing students will be taught how to tend to the needs of patients in many different medical settings and become valuable members of a healthcare team. The nursing program at MVC is fully approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing. This nursing program has also been approved as a candidate for accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Successful graduates of the program are recommended for eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
