The program takes 12 months for full-time students and par-time studens will take them 18 months. The program includes in class theoretical instruction and clinical practice in actual nursing settings. Clinical rotations are held in a range of selected hospitals and agencies in the Inland Empire, San Bernardino County and Riverside County according to the courses being taken.
Vocational Nursing program graduates can serve as a vital cog in the healthcare team under the supervision of physicians and Registered Nurses. Vocational nurses can work in a range of clinical settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, long-term care facilities, doctor’s offices, convalescent homes and private homes.
Admissions Requirement:
Students can then enroll in courses that train nurses in nursing concepts, patient care techniques and offer hands on training.
Graduates from the Four-D Vocational Nursing program are eligible to apply to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination.
