Forsyth Technical Community College
Forsyth Technical Community College is located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This school was established back in 1960 but has changed names multiple times and has become a more robust academic institution over the years. Currently, this school serves over 11,000 credit students and there are more than 20,000 other students taking non-credit, continuing education, or workforce development courses. The school even offers online degrees for the sake of convenience. This college has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The Forsyth Technical Community College nursing program gives students the chance to pursue associate’s degrees in nursing and prepare for all of the rigors of being registered nurses. Students will be taught how to deal with a number of different situations and will learn to effectively meet the needs of patients. The coursework will teach nursing students how to become an important part of an interdisciplinary team. Graduates of this program will be eligible to apply to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. This nursing program is approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and holds pre-accreditation status from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation.
