College of the Mainland
The College of the Mainland (COM) is located in Texas City, Texas. COM was established in 1966 and it now serves over 4000 students. Students will be able to pursue various associate’s degrees and certificates at this school. COM is also a well-known transfer school and many students choose to start their college journey at this institution. The college is completely accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
The nursing program at COM has become very respected throughout the years. There is a vocational nursing program, an associate’s degree in nursing program, and an LVN-to-RN transition track. All of these nursing programs are held to a high standard and give nursing students a full education. The curriculum at COM will involve interactive labs, classroom lectures, and clinical rotations at state-of-the-art facilities in order to give students practical experience.
