Brazosport College
Brazosport College (BC) is located in Lake Jackson, Texas. This public community college was established in 1968. There are many certificate programs and associate’s degree programs at this school and there are also several transfer options. It should also be noted that BC offers four-year degrees itself. Students will be able to earn bachelor’s degrees through the school’s bachelor’s of applied technology program. There are many fields of study at BC and students can receive a very thorough education at this institution.
The BC nursing program allows students to earn either associate’s degrees in nursing or nursing certificates. The school has both a licensed vocational nursing program and an associate’s degree in nursing program. The BC nursing program prepares all nursing students for the challenges of working in a variety of different medical settings. Upon graduation, students will be eligible to apply for the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN licensure exam, depending on which nursing program they were a part of. This nursing program is approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
