Belmont College
Belmont College is located in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. This college was established back in 1971 and used to be known as Belmont Technical College. It is a public two-year college that serves over 1000 students. This school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and it has many associate’s degree programs for students to take part in as well as a wide variety of technical certificate courses. Students can use Belmont College to help them launch new careers as they receive a thorough education that they need to find success.
The Belmont College nursing program offers both a practical nursing program and an associate’s degree nursing program. Students who have already earned LPN status can seek advanced placement in the RN program if they qualify. Both the practical nursing program and the associate’s degree program have been approved by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. This school offers students a great environment where they can learn and hone their nursing skills through classroom lectures, laboratory experiences, and clinical periods at local hospitals. Both programs seek to prepare all students to pass their respective NCLEX licensure exams.
