Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in college coursework
Good academic standing as verified by dean’s letter from prior nursing program if applicable
Pass background check and drug screening prior to clinical coursework
Meet mental and physical health criteria
Documentation of ability to perform essential functions for clinical coursework

Applications evaluated by Nursing Department Admission and Progression Committee
Clinical orientation or skill demonstration may be required even if transfer credit is granted
Meeting minimum admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance
Selection based on space availability and academic qualifications
Cost & Financial Aid
Tuition approximately $8,700 per term for full-time enrollment (12-19 credit hours)
Four-term total tuition approximately $34,800
Additional fees include technology fee ($270 per term), course fees (average $900 per term), and program fee ($650)
Room options on Mansfield or Ashland campus with separate charges
Financial aid available including Choose Ohio First Scholarships ($3,000/year for up to four years for eligible students)
Clinical & Simulation Lab
Clinical rotations take place in approved sites throughout Ohio
Simulation center with 32 beds providing real-world healthcare scenarios including home, outpatient, and hospital environments
1:8 clinical instructor-to-student ratio
Credit Transfer
Transfer credits accepted from accredited nursing programs with at least a C grade
Transfer nursing coursework reviewed by program faculty for equivalency
Clinical or skills validation may be required for transfer students
Non-nursing courses with C- transferable to institutional requirements but not nursing major requirements
