University of New Mexico - Gallup Campus (UNM-G) is located in Gallup, New Mexico. UNM-G was chartered as a community college more than four decades ago now. This school has always aimed to satisfy the diverse educational needs of the community with associate’s degree options, technical certificates, and many transfer options that it can offer students who are seeking four-year degrees. The school is even well known as a provider of adult education services and workforce development training courses. UNM-G also has online learning options for those who wish to take advantage.

The UNM-G nursing program has proven to be a very good option for all prospective nursing students in the community. This nursing program began in March of 2002 with the full approval of the New Mexico Board of Nursing. UNM-G has the ability to offer students certified nursing assistant courses, an associate’s degree in nursing program, and a bachelor’s degree in nursing program through a partnership with the University of New Mexico. Students will be able to enjoy the smaller class sizes at this school in order to receive a more intimate and individualized education. The associate’s degree program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
