Union County College
Union County College (UCC) is located in Cranford, New Jersey. UCC was established way back in 1933 and it currently serves over 11,000 students. This school offers students more than 80 different academic programs, many of which can transfer over to larger four-year universities. Many students take advantage of this to save money while working on their first two years of college. Students can earn a large number of different associate’s degrees and will also be able to pursue various certificate opportunities. The school also has several distance education classes that are offered online for the convenience of the students.
The UCC nursing program is going to offer students a thorough path to pursue an associate’s degree in nursing. This is a fully accredited program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and s fully approved by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as well. The curriculum is designed to give students the best possible knowledge base to become skilled nurses including different practical experiences as well as instruction and lectures. There is also a special track for LPNs who are looking to transition into becoming RNs.
