Uintah Basin Technical College
Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech) is located in Roosevelt, Utah and is a part of the Utah College of Applied Technology. UBTech was established in 1968. This program combines basic nursing skills with scientific principles and nursing theory. The job placement rate for nursing students has remained above 90% in recent years. The UBTech curriculum also prepares all nurses to take the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. The success rate for those taking this exam for the first time is very high, ranking far higher than the national or state averages. This nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
