Tallahassee Community College (TCC) is a state college that is located in Tallahassee, Florida. TCC is a full member of the Florida State Colleges institution and it offers students many educational opportunities. Those who attend this school will be able to pursue several associate's degree programs, bachelor's degree programs, and technical certificates. TCC was originally established in 1966 and the school motto is “the school of choice”. It is a school that is all about giving students as many choices as possible in order to enrich their academic experiences. TCC serves nearly 25,000 students and is the top transfer school in the nation to Florida State University and Florida A&M University, offering you many versatile options if you wish to transfer credits.
TCC has a fantastic nursing program for students to consider too. All of the nursing courses offered by TCC seek to prepare nursing students to function as effective members of the medical community. Several different nursing categories are available. Students can earn an associate’s degree in nursing or a bachelor’s degree in nursing. This will allow students to move on to have lucrative careers as registered nurses.
Nursing assistant courses are also available that focus on long-term care. All nursing courses are fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
