South Plains College
South Plains College (SPC) is located in Levelland, Texas. The school also has satellite branches in Plainview, Texas. Students will be able to pursue many associate’s degrees and certificates while attending the school. SPC is also known for offering continuing education courses to the community. Students will be able to take advantage of a large number of transfer programs as well. The SPC nursing program gives students the chance to earn associate’s degrees in nursing. Students will learn to care for patients in a variety of different healthcare settings. Students will also be able to sign up for the vocational nursing program if they so choose. This is a one-year program that is also comprehensive. It teaches the right skills for nursing students to become effective members of the medical community as licensed vocational nurses. The nursing program at SPC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
