Snow College
Snow College is located in Ephraim, Utah. This state college has roots that go all the way back to 1888. This college is known as one of the oldest junior colleges west of the Mississippi. It has evolved into a state college over time and began offering bachelor’s degrees in certain areas in 2016. There are also many associate’s degree programs and certificate options for students to take into consideration. Snow College has consistently been ranked among the best educational institutions in America. It provides students with a safe environment where they can learn and grow. It gives students access to education at affordable prices too. CNN Money, Rate My Professors, and Affordable Colleges have all ranked Snow College very high in their list of best schools in the nation. It is also well known for having various great transfer options when students wish to pursue higher degrees at different universities.
The Snow College nursing program has both a practical nursing option and an associate’s degree in nursing option. The way that this program is designed is that all students will go through the same curriculum for the first year. Students can then seek licensure as licensed practical nurses. From there, students can choose whether or not they wish to continue forward in the pursuit of becoming registered nurses. This nursing program has been fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
