Saint Johns River State College
Saint Johns River State College is located in Palatka, Florida. This is a state college that was originally found in 1958 as a junior college. It transitioned into being a four-year state college and started offering a variety of bachelor’s degrees. Saint Johns is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. This school also happens to house the Florida School of the Arts within its campus. Students will have a great many options available to them when considering where to focus their studies. Several certificate programs are also available for students to consider and it offers a very good education to any who walk through its doors.
Saint Johns has been focusing on its nursing department for a very long time. Each year, many new nursing students enroll in this respected program to gain the right skills to become medical professionals. The nursing program is designed to prepare students for their careers as registered nurses as effectively as possible. This program is fully approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. The nursing education program is also accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Courses cover a wide range of different topics so that nursing students will be prepared for everything that the professional world will throw at them. It is a great program for nurses who want to get a complete education that will prepare them for the NCLEX-RN license examination.
The school has started to offer an LPN program in addition to its ADN and LPN to ADN program. There is also a CNA program.
