Somerset County Technology Center (SCTC) is located in Somerset, Pennsylvania. SCTC opened in 1972 and has become a well-respected vocational and technical school. This school serves both high school students and adults. There are a large number of different technical and vocational training courses at the school that will lead directly to great employment opportunities. There are career programs in fields that are traditionally very lucrative, making this a popular educational center in the community. SCTC is also known for offering workforce-related training to different businesses in the community.

The SCTC nursing program is going to help students learn the necessary skills to become licensed practical nurses. This is a one-year practical nursing program that aims to provide all nursing students with an excellent education. There is a great emphasis placed on practical skills as well as traditional classroom learning experiences. Graduates of the SCTC practical nursing program will be fully prepared to take the NCLEX-PN licensure exam. This program has produced many successful LPNs throughout the years and continues to provide great educational opportunities to prospective nurses in the community.
