Spartanburg Community College
Spartanburg Community College (SCC) is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. There are also campuses located in Duncan, Gaffney, Union, and in downtown Spartanburg. SCC was established in 1963 and it now serves more than 5800 students.SCC allows students to earn many different associate’s degrees and certificates. There are also transfer opportunities for those who wish to continue their education at four-year universities. Many students choose SCC as their first college due to the comprehensive academic programs and overall affordability of the school.
The SCC nursing program is held in very high regard. This nursing program allows students to pursue associate’s degrees in nursing. Nursing students are taught how to become an important part of a healthcare team. This associate’s degree in nursing program has been fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Graduates of the program will be eligible to apply for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
