Moraine Valley Community College
Moraine Valley Community College is located in Palos Hills, Illinois. MVCC was founded in 1967 and it has become a very crucial part of the community. It has proven to be a very valuable academic institution that is held in high regard. The school even has a history of serving international students and it offers conveniences such as cross-cultural counseling. This is an inclusive and safe school where students can learn. All MVCC students will be able to pursue many academic programs while working towards associate degrees and certificates. It has great facilities for the students to take advantage of and it really gives them the right environment where they can thrive.
Nursing at MVCC is a two-year special admission program. This program is fully approved by the State of Illinois Board of Nursing. MVCC has a history of producing fine RN's and graduates of the nursing program go on to find work immediately after graduation 90% of the time. This fully-accredited program offers students the ability to learn in the best possible environment. Nursing courses will include cutting-edge technology, simulations, classroom lectures, and clinical experiences. The nursing program also offers hybrid course experiences and some online options, which can make things more convenient for some students. Students can also make use of an LPN to RN transition program.
