Moberly Area Community College
Moberly Area Community College (MACC) is located in Moberly, Missouri. MACC was established back in 1927 and it currently serves over 5,000 students. The school also has many satellite campuses, making it a very accessible option for many students. MACC is well known as a school that offers its students diverse and thorough educational opportunities. There are several associate degree programs, as well as certain certificate options, for students to consider. MACC even has a very robust athletics department that participates as part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). There are several men's and women's sports teams for students to participate in.
MACC has a nursing program that presents students with a few options as well. Students can pursue the practical nursing path or the ADN path. Both programs will involve a combination of classroom experiences and clinical exercises. The curriculum is designed to give nursing students the right mix of experience and a well-balanced education Nursing students will learn how to provide the best patient-centered care to all individuals in a variety of different settings. This school is completely approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Nurses who graduate the program will be prepared to take the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
