Lewis and Clark Community College
Lewis and Clark Community College is located in Godfrey, Illinois. This school has a very deep history that actually dates all the way back to 1838. It has many old buildings that are still used as part of the campus to this day. LC has a variety of different courses that students will be able to choose from. It has a lot of great programs that can help students to find the best career paths for them. Students can earn an associate degree and there are also certificate programs to consider. Credits are often transferred over to four-year universities so that those seeking a bachelor degree can continue their educational pursuits. LC also has high school partnerships that allow high school students to get a head start on their college experience.
Nursing is a very big part of LC and there are three different focuses that students can take. Students can pursue an Associate Degree in Nursing path to work toward becoming an RN. LC also offers a Nurse Assistant Training program for those who wish to become CNA's. All of the nursing programs are held in high regard and will provide students with a thorough education.
