Great Bay Community College
Great Bay Community College (GBCC) is located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and is part of the Community College System of New Hampshire. This public community college was established all the way back in 1945 and currently serves over 2200 students. It seeks to provide the community with great academic opportunities and it is held to very high academic standards. GBCC is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. This school has been offering students many associate’s degree and certificate programs in many different fields for a long time.
The GBCC nursing program offers students the opportunity to earn their associate’s degrees in nursing. This renowned program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing. GBCC students have traditionally had a very high success rate on the NCLEX-RN licensure exam due to the thorough education that they have received. Nurses from this program go on to find employment in the field very easily and have proven to be very successful members of the medical community.
