Gateway Community and Technical College (GCTC) is located in Florence, Kentucky. This public two-year community college was established back in 2002. GCTC serves around 4,000 students and it offers many academic opportunities for students to pursue. There are more than 200 available associate degrees at this school and many diploma and certificate options as well. There are various career avenues to explore and the school provides credit transfer options for those who wish to move on to a four-year bachelor degree program at a university. The GCTC nursing program is a crucial aspect of this college. The associate degree nursing program at GCTC is very sought after and it provides students with a great education.  Students can enjoy smaller class sizes than normal at this school and this leads to more individual attention. GCTC also has state of the art simulation labs and active learning classrooms that are designed to engage the minds of nursing students. 

Students attending the ADN program can earn their BSN at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) via the spcial RN to BSN program. The college has a credit transfer arrangement with the university.  On the other hand students with LPN license can join the ADN program through the LPN to RN advance placement option.
