CUNY Medgar Evers College

CUNY Medgar Evers College is located in Brooklyn, New York and serves over 7000 students. This is a senior college that was established back in 1970. The motto of this school is “we create success, one student at a time.” It has a reputation for providing students with a thorough educational experience that is designed to promote personal and professional success. This school is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) college system and it offers many baccalaureate and associate’s degree programs to consider. This school also has many student organizations and clubs that students can take part in. It has an athletics department too and is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.

The Medgar Evers College nursing program is seen as a perfect opportunity for students to pursue becoming registered nurses (RN). Students can also sign up for the practical nursing program in order to pursue becoming licensed practical nurses (LPN). There is an LPN-to-RN program that will appeal to current LPNs as well. This school offers students the chance to hone their nursing skills in a safe environment. Nursing students will gain experience steadily and will feel prepared for all NCLEX licensure exams up graduation. This nursing program has the accreditation of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
