Central Texas College
Central Texas College (CTC) is located in Killeen, Texas. CTC is a community college that was established in 1965. This community college is located very close to the Fort Hood military installation and has come to cater to the military in many ways. Students at CTC are able to earn associate’s degrees in many different areas of study. The school also has over forty different certificate programs to consider, making it a very practical option for those seeking vocational training in the community. There are even many online programs offered by the school for the convenience of all students. CTC is accredited by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Colleges.
CTC also offers three main nursing programs or paths that students will be able to follow. There is a traditional associate’s degree in nursing program, a licensed vocational nursing certificate program, and an LVN/paramedic-to-RN transition program. The nursing programs are all designed to help students learn the right skills to succeed in their professional careers. All nursing programs are approved by the Texas State Board of Nursing. The associate’s degree in nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
