Clovis Community College
Clovis Community College (CCC) is located in Clovis, New Mexico on a rural campus with more than 100 acres of space. Clovis was established back in 1991 and it is known for working closely with Eastern New Mexico University to provide further educational opportunities for students. It currently serves over 3,500 students and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It offers students several different associate’s degree opportunities as well as many certificate programs and different online programs. It aims to provide those in the community with great educational opportunities that will lead them to further success in life.
The CCC nursing program is a two-level program that will allow students to earn a licensed practical nurse (LPN) certificate first before moving forward toward becoming registered nurses (RN). The nursing program at this school has the full accreditation of the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Students at this school have a good rate of success when taking the NCLEX licensure exams and they also go on to find employment opportunities in the nursing field rather easily. This program offers students thorough training that prepares them for life as professional nurses in many different medical settings.
