Buckeye Hills Career Center
Buckeye Hills Career Center (BHCC) is located in Rio Grande, Ohio. This career center is well known in the community for providing a wide variety of career and technical programs involving classroom instruction, cooperative work experiences, and laboratory time when it is applicable. This career center aims to prepare students for lucrative careers in many different potential career paths through the training that they receive. Whether students wish to pursue cosmetology or one of the various medical career paths, they will be able to receive a complete education at this facility.
The BHCC nursing program allows students to pursue becoming licensed practical nurses (LPN). This practical nursing program is designed to prepare students by giving them all of the basic nursing skills that they will need for the job. The curriculum includes both classroom lectures and clinical experiences held off-site at partnered healthcare agencies. Students will be responsible for their own transportation to clinical sites. Upon graduation from this program, students will be eligible to apply for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam.
