Baton Rouge Community College
Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. BRCC is an open-admissions public community college that was established back in 1995. It boasts a 60-acre campus and currently serves around 8,000 students. This is a school that offers its students plenty of different options for seeking higher education. There are multiple associate degree programs, as well as diploma programs and certificate programs. Students will be able to pursue many different academic avenues when attending BRCC. The school is also well known for its athletics department which competes in the NJCAA Division 1.
BRCC is committed to training the future generation of nurses through their nursing program, too. This school does a good job of offering nursing students robust options while providing them with ample support throughout the program. Students will be able to pursue a diploma in practical nursing or they can choose to enroll in the associate degree in nursing program. There is also an LPN to RN fast track program to consider. The associate degree in nursing program is also designed to transfer easily over to a four-year university for those who wish to pursue a bachelor degree.
