Nursing Programs
The American Sentinel University Master of Science Nursing program is an accredited distance nursing degree program.
It is intended to prepare nurses who intend to work in the nursing field to offer students a range of mobility and better career options. The program offers students advanced theoretical and practical skills in five areas of specializations within the MSN program.
Admission Requirements:
- Completed application to the graduate program and acceptance by the university
- A professional resume
- Proof of a minimum of two years of full time professional experience as a Registered Nurse after licensure
- Current, valid unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Baccalaureate level course work from an accredited program
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Official transcripts for all courses taken at the undergraduate or graduate level
Graduates from all tracks are eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification.
The school may require applicants to show transcripts for specific courses and prerequisite examinations may be required for specific graduate tracks. Applicants who are deemed to be insufficiently prepared may be required to sit for special examinations to meet undergraduate prerequisites.
