North Central State College
North Central State College (NCSC) is located in Mansfield, Ohio. NCSC was established in 1961 and it now has more than 3000 students. This public community college offers students the chance to earn many different associate’s degrees, certificates, and diplomas. It has many workforce development programs for the community to take advantage of as well. NCSC also has various articulation agreements with four-year universities that allow students to transfer easily to pursue bachelor’s degrees.
The NCSC nursing program is very robust and offers students the chance to pursue the practical nursing program or the associate’s degree in nursing program. Nursing students from NCSC go on to pass the NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN licensure exams at rates that are far above the national average. The school also has a great track record for graduates going on to find employment in the field quickly. NCSC also has many agreements in place that allow graduates to transition into bachelor’s degree in nursing programs at four-year schools. This nursing program is approved by the Ohio State Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
