Hudson County Community College
Hudson County Community College (HCCC) is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. HCCC was established back in 1974 and currently serves more than 9,000 students. This public community college allows students to pursue various associate’s degree opportunities and there is also a large number of vocational certificate programs. The large variety that this school offers its students really makes it easy for just about anyone to find his or her preferred academic path. HCCC even offers a robust online learning experience for students who would like to take advantage of it.
The HCCC nursing program has two main programs that will educate nurses to become successful members of the medical community by teaching nursing theory and practical skills. There is the practical nursing program that will lead to a certificate and the registered nursing program that will lead to an associate’s degree. The nursing program at HCCC is fully approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing and is also accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).Graduates of the nursing program will be properly prepared to take the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
