Lakes Region Community College
Lakes Region Community College (LRCC) is located in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a public community college that is a member of the Community College System of New Hampshire. It currently serves a little over 1100 students and offers students in the community several great academic programs. LRCC can help students to earn associate’s degrees in 29 different programs and there are also a plethora of different certificate opportunities that are more career focused. Students in the community have been using LRCC as an important resource to further their career prospects for many years.
The LRCC nursing program allows students to pursue associate’s of science degrees in nursing and become fully prepared for professional life as registered nurses in a variety of different medical settings. It also helps to prepare nursing students for the rigors of the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Students will participate in classroom experiences, simulation labs, and clinical rotations at various associated facilities in the area. The LRCC nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and has the full approval of the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
