Davis Technical College
Davis Technical College (Davis Tech) is located in Kaysville, Utah. This public technical college was established in 1978. Davis Tech is designed to prepare both high school students and adults for new career paths. Many of these career training programs will lead students directly toward lucrative employment opportunities. Davis Tech is an accredited institution under the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. The school also has formal articulation agreements with LDS Business College, Weber State University, and Utah State University to allow for credit equivalency.
The Davis Tech nursing program is going to give students the chance to become licensed practical nurses (LPNs). Students are taught to take care of patients in a multitude of different medical settings. This program places equal importance on classroom theory and clinical experiences. The classroom and clinical portions of the curriculum will be taking place concurrently. There are many local healthcare facilities where the clinical portions of the program will take place. This nursing program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
